Hiori wandered around the fire nation, she was boed, she had Chiso with her but she was asleep in her arms...Hiori thought about her father and sighed"why did you have to go away?"she wondered she looked up and saw Ash, she turned the other way and walked off.[they are rivals]
Ash saw Hiori and ran after her"hey whats wrong, too scared that i might, hut you and little Chiso?"she asked in a baby voise
"no i just don't want to hurt you and Icko!"Hiori snapped abck looking at Chiso and walked faster"leave me alone!"she demanded

Rooa was in the Hotel that her mother owned, she was looking out of the attic window. She smiled, she opened her window and jumped out.

Ash growled and followed her"i'm not leaving until you fight me!"she grumbled
"fine, follow me but your gonna regret it!"Hiori said storming off to a clearing

Alaya was on the border of where the Earth Kingdom ended and another started, she recognised burning, smoke flaring up her snose she sneezed and watched as others plainly crossed the line without hesitation. She knew her mother was in there somewhere but she couldn't just walk in, or could she? She took a gentle step in, StormFeathers warning cooe following her. He stepped ov er the line, a deliberate harsh step, no hesitation to follow his mistress. She stroked him, and took a deep breath, throwing a cape over her head she spotted a hotel she could barely make out the sign. Fire Lilly she thought she read. "Only one way to find out..." she whispered. She saw a girl jump from a window and jogged over, something told her that the girl wouldnt harm her, but she wasn't completely sure. "Um.. Hello," she said once she reached her.

Rooa landed cat like on the ground, she stood up and a girl said "hello". Laura blinked and said "um, hi"

Chiso quiely hissed at Icko

Alaya smiled, a little unsure of what to say next. "Are you a fire bender?" she asked, her friendly nature taking over her common sense. StormFeather streched out to sniff her, no alarm in his gentle hello cooe.

Rooa hesitated and said "no..."

She smiled friendly-like. "Oh," was all she said, "um.. Do you bend? I bend earth," she said, bending the rocky ground between them to rise up, forming a wall, then shatter. "Oh, and I'm Alaya," she introduced.

Rooa said "im Rooa, and I cant really show you here, I might get captured by the guards, I advise not to bend either, they might catch you"

Alaya nodded, "Well its nice to meet you," she said. "Um.. you wouldn't perhaps... Under any cercumstances, know where they keep prisoners?" it was a shot in the dark, but all Alaya could do was hope, and try to make friends with Rooa.

"In the prison?" Rooa said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world

Alaya looked away, a little insulted, but quickly shrugged it off.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm not from round these parts," she whispered the last part, knowing that fiery fire-benders weren't always friendly to outsiders.

"I figured that, and im not a fire bender" Rooa said

Alaya smiled sweetly, then her face turned saddened. "My mum... she was captured and brought here, I'm trying to get her back" she blurted.

Rooa nodded and said "I was born here, but do not bend the element of the flame"

Alaya smiled. "I see..." she mused. Then a cheeky glint formed in her eye. "Do you like adventure?" she grinned.

Rooa grinned back

"It will involve, facing the unfaceable, daring to be different, and potentially getting ourselves burned," Alaya laughed, strutting back and forth like a commanding officer.

Rooa's grin widend from ear to ear "and smashing people?" she asked

"Sure," Alaya laughed, "Why not?" She looked at StormFeather, who rubbed his head on her arm. "You got a travel buddy?" she asked.

Rooa petted the Hippogriff

StormFeather snorted, gently rubbing his head against Rooa.
"I think he like's you," Alaya smiled.

Rooa said" I have a way with animals"

StormFeather, alarmed by something, spooked, leaping backwards, knocking both girls over. "Storm!" Alaya gasped, the wind having been nocked out of her. StormFeather looked down at her, eyes now calm and sincere.

Rooa petted the hippogriff and said "I thought Hippogriffs were only myths"

StormFeather pulled back on her again, "So did I, till I met StormFeather," she said. "Um.. are you by any chance a water bender?" she asked shyly, watching her hippogriff's resist.

"why?" Rooa asked confused

Alaya looked at her in equal confusion. "Hippogriffs are afraid of water, didn't you know?" she asked. StormFeather snorted, shaking her head. "Well atleast, this Hippogriff is." she laughed.

Rooa said "um, sorry, I can bend Lightning too, but not fire"
